We’re excited to share that we have successfully completed the initial development and testing of the core Augmented Reality (AR) mechanics for Reality Rift.
At this stage, the game is capable of placing objects in the real world using precise coordinates, allowing players to interact with them, as well as spawning objects dynamically in random locations. These systems form the foundation of the immersive AR experience we have envisioned from the very beginning.
This was one of the most challenging and risky stages of development. While AR games have been around for several years, the technology is still relatively young and continues to evolve rapidly. Unlike many traditional game genres, there are few established design patterns or proven formulas that developers can simply adopt and adapt. Much of the work requires experimentation, testing, and finding new solutions that fit the unique experience we want to create.
After many iterations and countless hours of testing, we are pleased with the results. The core technology is working as intended, and we now have a solid foundation on which to build the next stages of the game.
With this milestone behind us, we’re moving forward and continuing development. There is still a lot of work ahead, but Reality Rift is becoming more real with every step.
Stay tuned for more updates!
