Our team recently visited the HKTDC Hong Kong Electronics Fair and the Canton Fair in Guangzhou, exploring new technologies and ideas for Reality Rift.
Among our discoveries were robots that could become part of the game. We’re always looking for ways to bring our universe closer to everyday life, and physical robots could add another dimension to that experience.
Imagine meeting a game character beyond your phone screen — a robot companion connected to your virtual adventures, or a real-world encounter that opens up a new quest. These are some of the possibilities we’re exploring as we consider how robotics could work alongside our AR mechanics.
There’s still plenty to investigate, but this trip gave us fresh inspiration for connecting the real and virtual worlds. We’re excited to see where these ideas might take Reality Rift!
