A game world isn’t truly alive if it can only be seen — it also needs to be heard.
To make Reality Rift feel more immersive, we’ve started working on our own sound library created specifically for the game. From the sounds of combat and weapons to magical effects, creatures, environmental ambience, and the small details that accompany the player’s actions — sound will become an important part of how our world feels.
This is especially important for Reality Rift, where virtual objects and creatures become part of the player’s real surroundings through AR. The right sound can make something that exists only on the screen feel surprisingly close and tangible.
Rather than relying entirely on generic sound libraries, we want to develop our own collection and gradually give Reality Rift its distinctive audio identity.
There is still a lot to record, create, experiment with, and refine, but the work has already begun.
Soon, the worlds of Reality Rift won’t just be visible. You’ll hear them too.
